Late Friday night, I started getting e-mails about homeowners having low water pressure. I figured they were full of it or the open space behind them was being watered. Let’s wait till morning. At 6 AM, I get a call from the pump master indicating that we lost the bigger of the 2 pumps that powers our community’s irrigation water. Crap. Why on Saturday? Saturday is when all the lawn crazies water and mess with everything. By noon, the irrigation manager has it down to one part that we haven’t had a problem with since inception. Unfortunately, nobody that would carry such a part is open on a Saturday. So we will have low to no water until Monday. Luckily, people are starting to visit the web site and they saw the notice there and started to spread the word. This Internet thing might actually work. 🙂
