Vegas Is Heating Up and Cooling Down

Its chilly here. Been in the 30s in the evening. Not as warm as you would like but you would think all the people here would generate enough body heat to warm things up. There is definitely a buzz around here. I haven’t ever been to New York for New Year’s Eve but Vegas is probably the #2 party spot.

Today, it was announced that they will have armed military choppers flying overhead. They have been putting up fences everywhere today along the strip. They will shut down the strip to car traffic tomorrow night so everyone can gather in the street. There are fireworks at midnight as well. I have been asleep by midnight the last few years so this should definitely be more interesting.

Here are some photos from some of our strolls around town today. We are staying in Paris so here is the required Eiffel Tower shot.

Took Sydney to the Bellagio to see the fountains tonight. They are one of my favorite Vegas attractions.

Caesar’s had all kinds of Christmas lights up in front. It was cool. Probably doesn’t look as good in the photo.

Mom took a picture of Sydney and I also.
