I love shows at Summit. You aren’t going to see Metallica there but when one of your top bands does come there, it is a pretty awesome thing. I came late and drove straight to the front of the crowd as the openers ended. Oddly, the whole group in front of me turned and bailed to refuel or pee. The entire section of rail was open in front of me. Grab! I was suddenly compressed by everyone going for it. Right place, right time. Front row!
This made for some pretty epic shots and an even better place to watch the show. With no one in front, it felt sort of like a private show to me. I was lost in it. It was pretty sweet. Best concert experience in a while.

A few clips so I can feel the magic some day in my old age…
How about a bunch of pictures? I took more. It was fun to have so many to chose from with only a few bad of the whole set.
