I was tired of being on this trail.
Given I started the month with my longest lasting injury of my career, this isn’t too bad. Last January, I did 250 so this is probably the first time in a while where my total was below the year prior. Doctor had me holding volume for the first part of the month so I didn’t make things worse. Plus, I was told to stay off the snowy trails and uphills in general. I listened (mostly) and things have gotten progressively better. I really started to think things were clicking last week. My next appointment is tomorrow. A good checkpoint.
Days above 10k feet? A lot. I lost track.
