Permalink Run: Going to Garrett (17.00 mi @ 09:26)

Free 3.0s. It was a bit cooler outside today so I thought I might get a break from the heat and humidity and get a faster run in. I was going to run to my Grandma's nursing home but I couldn't secure a ride back. So I found out my Dad was up in Garrett, Indiana, at his shop so I decided to go there. Would make for a longer run but oh well. Got nicely rained on for the first 30 minutes. Felt great. Then the sun and heat came back and it was in the 90s by the time I got into Garrett. My bottle was dry and I hadn't seen a gas station the whole way. Finally found one and got a 32 oz Gatorade and slammed it. Then finished out the run to my Dad's shop. Did some quality run-walk transitions here as my HR was on the rise in the heat. Had enough of heat training.
