Permalink Run: Sandstone-Martin-Union (16.10 mi @ 08:33)

I had intentions of running 25 to hit the magic number for the week. But at about 10 I decided I would rather not. Things were good but I was slowing down and not feeling like there was much benefit today. Kept the pace easy and coasted it back home for the longest run of the week. Felt good to be out there today. We finally got that +10 degrees I have been bitching about.

Saw a snake in the middle of the greenway (paved bike trail). Stopped to watch him and get him off the trail so nobody ran over him.

Then there is this alpaca that I have become friends with. She was out by the road today so I stopped to chat. They had shaved her and she looks goofy now. She has no other alpaca friends there and I think the other animals are making fun of her. I felt bad for her and said I would see her tomorrow.

I went 16.10 miles with an elevation gain of 298 feet in 02:17:42, which is an average pace of 08:33. Heart rate average was 140. View my GPS data on Garmin Connect.
