Permalink Frikin Laser Beams

When lasers were suggested by Tony, there was only one thought…

Sharks with frikin laser beams! I couldn’t be sure the sharks would target the right area so I had to find a way to do this in a more controlled setting.

Luckily, my chiropractor, Dr. Larimore, has this laser technology on hand. I recalled him mentioning it to me a long time ago but I never had the need for this therapy. So I got in this morning and did the usual spinal adjustment. Then he played with my leg for a while. A few nice pulls on it were producing some good pops right in my ankle as if things were jammed up in there. Probably because the tibialis anterior muscle isn’t performing its full duties. Then I went into the adjacent room and he handed me the laser. I self performed a series of treatments on a few spots that he X’d on my leg with a pen.

Laser

This laser is made by MedX. More info here. Shines a visible red LED light on your leg while it uses three other invisible lasers to treat the area. My foot did feel a little cold during but that could have just been my mind or a breeze in the room. Otherwise, no pain or feeling with the treatment. This is no one time miracle cure of course. Doc told me to come back any time they are open and just use the laser as needed free of charge. Cool. I may stop by every other day or so for a while and see if it makes a difference.

I am feeling a bit better each day but if this speeds recovery in some way (plus its free), its worth a shot.
