Run: Losing My VFF Virginity (7.31 mi @ 08:31)Stopped raining so I went for the 2nd half. To mix it up, I wore the VFFs for the first time on a run. Not bad. Definitely better on dirt than concrete. Wouldn’t want to do a whole long run on concrete in them for quite some time. Hurts when you hit a sharp rock right on the ball of your foot. Found myself watching where I stepped much more often. No pain or trouble with them. Ankle felt about the same. VFFs seem to work your left/right stabilization muscles more. I have a up/down issue right now. I often hear you are sore the next day after a VFF workout. We will see.
I went 7.31 miles with an elevation gain of 155 feet in 01:02:20, which is an average pace of 08:31. Heart rate average was 139. View my GPS data on Garmin Connect.
