Kind of Dead
My Garmin 405 died today post-run. Well, it is stuck with 2:36 PM on the display. None of the buttons are doing anything. Reset is failing. Putting it on the charger does nothing. Crap.
Had this watch since July 2007 so its been a good friend. Will call Garmin tomorrow to see what to do. Maybe another refurbish swap for $100. I will do that if so.
My trusty 305 is sitting here all shiny and ready to run tomorrow. Always have a backup. Geek rule.
Ran 8.64 miles (I think — briefly checked before it died) as a Steady 6M. Ran to meet the family for lunch. Kim tracked me online to test that tracker system. Worked well. Gotta have a strategy for Boston since it is going to be hard to find a runner in a sea of runners.
