Since I opted out of the Brisk 5 yesterday, I went out to do it today. I was reluctant. Fired up my watch not to find the workout in there. Need to fix that at the computer. Found a Brisk 4M program and talked myself into that as a compromise for today. So I ran it. It hurt. After 2 miles, I opened up a bit and finally got the HR up into the 160s where it was supposed to be. 6:45 avg pace overall. Not bad but off my 10k PR by :15. Yikes. Oh where have my legs gone? Felt like a hard day though. Need more of them.
Been wearing my LunarGlides lately because I didn't want to get my new LunarTrainers all dirty. Sort of growing on me. They don't rub anymore on my heal. I like the black look too. Always wanted to design my shoe. So I googled that. You can at nike.com now. Looks like you get 9 choices and various colors for each. Here is a Team Shart prototype. Check it.
