Run: Union Reservoir (10.18 mi @ 07:38)
Finally back home in the groove for a normal loop after a week away. Felt totally shitty in a good way.
Last week, when returning from California, the TSA bitch lady randomly started giving me a hard time because she didn’t think I looked like my picture. As if it was my older brother’s license. It was only 2+ years ago I got that license after the wallet incident. Finally got through but I usually then put it right away — but for some reason, I jammed it in my jacket pocket and moved on after she let me through. I ate lunch and took my jacket off. Carried my jacket to the plane. Put it on in Colorado. Next day…where’s my license? Probably laying in San Jose. Maybe somebody will mail it but I didn’t want to wait for that.
Got to the Driver’s License place with Reagan and Kayla. Nobody was there! I mean the workers were but no line. Just walked right up and got my business done. $20 later and a new license should be en-route. Best part — “No sir, my weight is now 145. Lost 10!” I even padded that 3 pounds since I have been holding my Denver Marathon 142 in the mornings. After I strip 10 more pounds before Boston, I may have to go get a new license again so it is factually correct. Proving I am not a fatty.
