Woke up late after that late night run. Grabbed a Jamba Juice on the way into work. Then went into a meeting. But I was starving the whole time. Talked 3 co-workers into heading over to In-N-Out for lunch. Not a hard sell. Got a Double Double — probably would have done a 4x4 if I was alone. Ate it all up and was complete as a person once again.

Headed back to work and did a few meetings and walked around. This seems to be the phenomenon when I am in town. I just put the computer away and surf from cube to cube talking with people, answering questions, solving issues, discussing things, etc. The number 1 comment when I see people is “You lost weight”. OK. Get over it. I did that a long time ago. Was I fat or something? Oh well, its all good.

Near the end of the day, I was able to call back to my house and talk to my family via TelePresence for about 20 minutes. What a treat when you are not there. Sydney spent the first 5 minutes asking me how many fingers she was holding up. Had to prove out the technology to her I guess. Wyatt even jumped into the shot for a few minutes but dogs and video don’t mix — he could hear me but not see me. Guess we need to add smell-o-vision to get the dogs the full experience.

4 guys were up for dinner so they let me pick. I went with Fiesta Del Mar — the best Mexican in the United States. Bold claim but it is true. So we went. Had mole appetizers, 2 pitchers of margs, and dinner. Great stuff. Talked about running a good deal. My favorite topic. Trying to talk Luke and Glenn into coming to Colorado to run something next year but we haven’t settled on anything. Comment was made about “Brandon and his gonzo Colorado running buddies” — I think it was a compliment. I even talked John into getting Kim’s favorite dish so I could snap a picture of it for her to drool over.

Headed to bed now to catch up on some sleep. Just tired from the travel and different schedule. I have a 7AM run with my boss, Ted, in the AM. Should be a good time. Ted could have schooled me a couple years ago — now I will have to take it easy on him. Follow that with an all hands meeting and the TelePresence 3 year party tomorrow night. Should be a fun day!

Hope you Colorado bitches are enjoying those temps. (Actually, it isn’t like summer here either. Pissed about that.)
