Disneyland
We are in LA for our annual fall vacation. Spending quite a few days at Disneyland. Sydney and Reagan are having a great time as expected. Kim and I really wanted to get back to the beach this fall but something told us that we needed to treat the kids to more Disney this year. So Kim and I will be doing a solo trip to Costa Rica in February for our beach and adventure time.
The whole park is decorated for Xmas. Kind of a fun twist. We saw Halloween at Disney last year. The lighting is incredible. Plus, they made it snow at the park tonight (in certain areas). For those SoCal folks that don’t know what snow is, I guess it was OK. I was more like “you ain’t really seen snow until you come to Colorado!”.
We ended the night at the park around 9 PM and got out for some real food. Kim and I were starving and when we finally got to the car and packed up, I couldn’t find the keys. Crap! I had dropped them in the trunk with all the bags. Spent the next 10 minutes trying to figure out how to open the trunk from inside the car. Pop! Got them out. Whew. I was calm. I was prepared to bust that trunk open because I wasn’t going to ruin our magical day. And I really wanted a beer! We all ate and the kids passed out just after they finished. We carried them out and back to the hotel and laid them in bed. That’s a great way to end the day!
