Cross Populating
Its been bugging me that I can’t find a way to integrate my Twitter, Facebook, Pownce, etc. status all into one place.
However, I found it tonight with TwitterFeed. This site allows you to plugin a RSS feed and it will post it to Twitter.
As you may recall, I wrote MT-Twitter a while back. That plugin takes your tweets and publishes them to your blog. Good.
So now we can publish any random RSS feed into Twitter using TwitterFeed. Then MT-Twitter will bring that down to your blog every 5 minutes.
I added RSS feeds for Pownce and Facebook and my blog to TwitterFeed and its all flowing now.
Of course, this isn’t perfect or 2-way all the way around. But at least you can post from Facebook and Pownce and have it go to Twitter and then your blog. You can’t go from anything into Facebook or into Pownce yet. But having Twitter be the central update location isn’t bad either…for now.
BTW, if you aren’t on Facebook, Pownce, Twitter, etc….get with it already.
