Permalink Make Money With Me

Hey, remember that post where I put down my current stock picks? I got lots of comments from people (mostly via e-mail) about this and that. Some liked some. Some didn’t. Some wanted more info or to discuss. That got me to thinking — wouldn’t it be great if there was a place that we could all discuss online? Now, there are already 1000s of financial message boards out there but if you are like me, you sense that they are all full of junk and self-promotion and hype. Not interested. What I really want to do is to get down to what we are picking…what my family and friends are picking. You see…I get my stock info from various sources — Mad Money, Motley Fool, etc. Maybe you read the WSJ everyday. Maybe my uncle talks to his broker and reads charts. Maybe my Dad has knowledge of some particular industry that I don’t know squat about but its a bull market. Now me talking to my Dad might produces one set of ideas but if my Dad talked to my uncle he might produce another set. What if you took that and did a “six degrees” type thing with people you trusted/valued their picks. Hmmm.

So a few late nights and I had a start. Showed a few interested friends that I already talked stocks with and we made some more enhancements. Now, we have something and I think you should check it out. Its called DAMAGETHEORY.COM. I had the domain sitting around if you recall. So I put it to good use. Anyway, give it a try. All you do is sign up for a free trial account, then select your friends and then fill out your portfolio. Your stock info gets shared with your friends and vice versa so you can get a glimpse into how other rate your portfolio and get money making ideas.

Hey, not to brag, but I have had 6 stocks with 20%+ gain since the beginning of the year. 2 with 50%+ gains. Oh, sure I have a few in the whole but I am buying more of those. You would know that if you saw my portfolio. Now you can. Give it a try. Let’s make money together! Let me know what you think. This should be fun.
