Primed and Painted
3 days, 3 coats. 2 primer, 1 paint. 1 more coat of paint to go on Monday. This weekend I have to put my speakers in the wall because they are going to paint the trim and grills for them the next time they spray.
We had a large debate on whether to paint the ceiling white or not. The rest of our ceilings are white in the rest of the house but the walls are a lot lighter down here. The cons of painting the ceiling down here are all the difference levels in the ceiling so you have to pick and choose where you would paint white. Meaning if you have a drop, you would paint both ceilings but what about the vertical piece connecting in the middle. The more places to tape off the more it costs. Oh well, we had them spray it all 1 color. Once they spray my speakers, its permanent — or I get new speakers!
Next week the finishing work starts. We might wrap this by the end of the month!
