Minor Mac Woes
My wife is a few weeks into her new iMac G5 and she has customization questions that I cannot answer. Maybe somebody else knows. Google hasn’t turn up anything yet. Too many matches.
1. Maximize a window. Growing up a Windows user, she wants to push the green button on a window and have the window maximize. On that Mac, the green button tells the application to adjust itself to what it thinks is the largest size it should show. Most often, this is not completely maximized. Anyone know of a hack to change this?
2. Launching more browser windows. In Windows, when she clicks on an IE icon, it launches another browser. In Mac OS X, when you click on Safari, it just brings it back to the foreground and then you have to go File->New Window to get another.
Thoughts or is this just the way it is.
