Right Place, Wrong Time
So we are in this teleconference (not on MeetingPlace, boo!) today with a company that we are working on a deal to license some technology. The meeting goes long and some of the people drop out. A few of us stay on for another hour to finish the meeting up. At the top of the next hour, a new person joins the teleconference. To our surprise, the annoucement says, “Jane Doe from <insert our competitor’s name here> has joined the meeting”. Oops! The feeling I had was probably similar to the one when you catch your girlfriend cheating on you or something. Now, we aren’t exclusive with this company but it sucks when you find out your girl is banging your rival but you said you could both see other people but you didn’t think she would really do it. That bitch. Maybe I should call her. Wait, wasn’t I talking about business?
