Blown Away
Tried to go skiing at Eldora today. As we got closer, we noticed cars coming back the other way with their skis and boards still in on the rack. It was pretty windy out. Upon arriving, we were blown across the parking lot. All the lifts but one were closed. They said the wind speed at the top of the highest lift was measuring at 100 MPH! Oh well, no skiing today. First time in my history that I have ever been shutdown by the weather.
Later that night on the news, they showed semis that had been blown right over going down the highway during the day.
