Jaws Didn’t Show
Herb and I spent the morning watching the Daytona 500. It started at 7 AM Hawaiian time. Fun to watch the big race with Herbie. One of these days we will get to Florida for the Great American Race. For now, I guess I can settle for Maui. Some ladies commented that it was a bit crazy to travel all this way and watch a race. I guess they will never understand.
After the race, Kim was itching to get into the ocean — which is weird because all she talks about are shark attacks. Too much Discovery Channel can be a bad thing. We swam out a bit. The place we are staying is back in a small bay so it feels very safe from anything with fins and teeth.
We plan on heading out around the island tomorrow. Enough tanning and sitting around.
