Almost Over

Tonight, we had the final Latitude party. The close of the Cisco acquistion is supposed to happen next week. In a weird but equally cool move, tons of ex-Latitude folks came to help celebrate. Now normally, people leave companies and its this big bitter issue. But tonight lots of folks showed up to show that Latitude was different and it really was a big family.

In traditional Latitude fashion, nothing can be done normally. So tonight they arranged for a full wedding production in which Latitude married Cisco. Latitude was played by Rick, our CEO, and Cisco was played by this mannequin we have around the office. Lots of fun.

Dave (my boss) was one of the groomsmen. Never seen Dave in a tux before. Probably never will again.

Kent was telling a few folks about my blog and saying how it was “too much information”. Man, if he only knew what was really on my mind. Here’s to Kent.
